Acuball: The most convenient and effective "self help" tool for back pain and tightness

Every one of us has recurring tightness and/or pain in our back, neck, shoulders, arms or legs. And even though I often understand the cause and can always feel the origin, I am frustrated by my inability to treat it because I cannot personally reach the spot. Regular massage, Pilates, Alexander and other forms of body work definitely help but how freeing it is to be able to address the problem your self.

It was years ago, in pursuit of my Pilates training, that I first met Sean Gallagher, owner of the Pilates Studio in New York, partner with Roman Kryzanowska and successful physiotherapist to the New York City Ballet. He shared with me a simple tool; two tennis balls tied up in a sock that I could use while sitting on a plane to put pressure on a sore spot in my back to release the tension and relax the muscle.

He also gave me a simple routine once I landed in a hotel room where I simply lay on the balls. With my spine in the middle and using my own body weight, moving the balls up and down my spine looking for tight spots, I could perform trigger point therapy. Instantly the pressure forces the tight point to release, blood flow is restored and muscle length replenished. This is an amazing tool to maintain muscle balance and relieve tension, tightness and pain in those "hard to reach" places.

Recently I was in Toronto and met Dr. Michael Cohen; a respected practicing Chiropractor & Acupuncturist with sixteen years of clinical experience. I was impressed by his philosophy that we are always able to heal our own body so long as we have the right tools and the right positive attitude. Dr. Cohen excitedly shared with me his recently developed, "Acuball".

It's an amazing and most perfect self help tool; the perfect size, the perfect design, the right amount of compliance and the ability to be warm. Wow! I was instantly converted from my old twin tennis balls in the sock to his revolutionary Acuball.Dr Cohen worked for years to create his twin set of Acuballs, made of a heat-able rubber and with a selection of cleverly placed small and large nubs on the outside, specifically designed to treat tight trigger points with a natural acupressure effect. The simple pressure from the ball forces the muscle fibers to release, blood naturally replenishes the area of pain, toxins and waste are removed, natural pain killers are released, fibers lengthen, pain disappears and flexibility and wellness is restored.

The larger of the 2 balls has a cleverly designed align belt in its center that is free of nubs. When you place the ball under your spine you can lie directly on the ball with out any discomfort on the sensitive vertebrae. The warmth of the ball adds a soothing and instantly relaxing benefit to relax the muscles even faster. The smaller of the 2 balls is cleverly designed to address those very hard to reach places in the arms, shoulders and back that the bigger ball cannot touch.

You know I am an advocate of self help and preach independence and personal power to heal your own body. Clinically researched, laboratory tested, and doctor and hospital recommended, Acuball is an absolute MUST and will save you so much money, time and pain. All of a sudden you can be free of dependence on your massage therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist or Alexander teacher.

Your Acuball is the safe, hypoallergenic, non toxic solution to get to the root of every pain and ache in every member of your family. I carry one with me all the time. I use it in the car, on the plane, in my bed and even to relax the muscles of my face and scalp to restore a youthful glow so often lost from the crazy schedule I keep.
