Ovulation and Menopause

FACT or FICTION: At the time of birth, most females have about 1 to 3 million eggs.

The answer is FACT: Most are lost throughout a woman's life; down to 400,000 by first menstrual cycle, and 10,000 by menopause. Very few are actually lost through ovulation, most of them die off.
