| this forum has so much potential to be informative and really cool, however, I've notice participation is very low, why is that....we all love pilates and our reformers, any ideals on how we as a community can increase interest and participation??? |

| I think people are probably just busy with their lives. I usually check the message board 2 to 3 times a week. |

| I check this board every day. I guess you could look at it this way, "no news is good news!" Maybe there isn't anyone having problems and everyone is happy and content with the greatest exercise in the world.......PILATES!!! :D |

| I think more dynamic content, regular updates not sporadic, polls being posted, discussion topics too. |

I tend to agree with you Marge, of course we are all busy with our lives, but isn't pilates and pilates a small part of those busy lives I'm just saying |

I'm up for the challenge any one else want to join Mary Johnson and I. I've been doing kettlebells and using my reformer and I'm seen postive results, I 've lost 5# in 2 weeks, my goal was 10, but now I'm going for 15. |

Hi b33ha,
WTG! Thats great you lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks! I hurt my back, but am still doing the dvd and 20 mins of the cardio board. Even though I have to break it up into 2 sessions of 10 mins each.... I hope its doing some good! I am going to call my chiro this morning and see if I can get in to get an adjustment...
So, what type of challenge should we do? Since I am new to this, not sure how it works. Is it usually a cardio challenge or what? |

| I'm new on this forum to, so I would said most like it would be a cardio challenge or maybe an intensity challenge, so maybe we could do the reformer with cardio 5xper week....let me look on here to see what kind of challenges were done in the past, All are welcome to chime in here |

I was wondering if anyone else had the problem I am experiencing. I can rebound for 15-20 minutes with no problem, but the next day my legs really hurt. The hurt is the way my legs used to feel after I had major leg cramps when I was pregnant. There is a definite feeling of weakness and soreness. I have been walking for 45 minutes daily and have no problems, just can't understand why rebounding hurts my legs so much! I have tried rebounding less, but that doesn't seem to make any difference in the way my legs feel.
Thanks,
Linda |

I've had this problem, but with my knee's I can't understand why, because I jump rope and do polymeric without any problem whatsoever, I'm selling my rebounder because of this issue, this makes me really sad because I would love to use it, it looks like it would be so much fun to do
LOL meanermom45  |

| I have tried for over a year to use the rebounder. I don't understand why my legs feel like they do the day after I rebound. I have tried less cords and varied the routine, but this doesn't seem to help or make a difference. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis a few months ago, but my bones and muscles are solid, have had no bone loss. I walk every day for 30-40 minutes to get my heart rate up and to burn some calories. I do pilates every other day and enjoy this so much, my body feel so rejuvinated afterwards! |
