I have been working on a simple Weight Management System for some time. Most of you know this. I believe "weight "is a lifestyle commitment and not a guilt-based decision making processs but my friends reprimand me since they do not agree that I understand having a weight issue?
Your body needs movement, nutrition, rest, air and water. We all, at this forum, know how to move! PILATES is IT!
So many factors determine what we eat and my rule is "God-made not man-made, un-processed, alive and organic if possible". (I do use Hazel Parcell's cleaning techniques when I cannot get organic.)
LighterLiving has an Energy Drink meal replacement for low calorie, metabolic-boosting nutrition, a tomato and berry flavored Green Drink to rev up the immune system, a Fiber Supplement to encourage regular elimination and a Cleanse to detoxify and rid the body of junk.
I have asked two of my very close friends, Whitney and her daughter Chenier, who both regularly struggle with losing weight, to sign on and share their un-biased opinion of what the Berry Drink and a regular Pilates routine does for their energy, stamina and state of mind. Whit is in her 50's and Chenier is in her 20's. I hope to use this message board, in all forums, to better understand what you all need and how I can help to provide, so enjoy. _________________ |

Hello all!!
What an honor to do this thread and experiment with Marjolein. My daughter will start her thread soon as well and I think between our age ranges and dispositions and lifestyles we should represent a broad range of challenges to get fit and manage our weight. Thanks so much to Marjolein--she said several of you have mentioned that since she hasn't struggled with weight how could she truly relate. Being the caring and honest individual she is she wants all of her members to have someone to relate to. One thing about Marjolein--well there are sooooo many amazing things--but one thing in this case is she is totally committed to helping others feel physically and mentally better. She IS the real deal.
First, I am 54yrs old, struggled with my weight since birth---was the fattest baby born in my hometown that week so the first several words I probably heard were "my goodness what a fat baby" or "she is a chubby thing isn't she?" Great programming huh? Currently I am 5'7" and 238lbs. The only time in my life I was near perfect weight I had seriously starved to get there--eating one meal every other day. In the process I killed what was left of an all but nonexistent thyroid and further complicated weight issues.
What I do for a living is I am a "practicing intuitive" and I do private readings over the phone as well as work on missing children cases and murder cases. I also do work with some psychiatrists with some of their severe abuse victims such as incest victims. The murder cases and abuse cases are not all that often but can be very depressing which leads to me doing what??---Yep eating something sweet to comfort. . I ADORE doing the private sessions and have many wonderful and intelligent clients across the country. My passion is of course to be accurate with the readings but more so to expand my clients thought processes. I am also writing a book on the subject. Since my brain is my favorite toy and I swear I am out of body more than I am in it  I tend to not take care of it. A few years ago there was a scientific study done on us "intuitves" and "psychics'" to see why such a high % of us were overweight--something like 70some percent. What they found was our adrenal glands are completely drained after a session and to replenish we all tended to eat sugar and high calorie foods. In addition since my clients are working people most my sessions are nights and I don't like to eat before hand so was eating really late. Add menopausal to the mix and it isn't pretty.
I have just started the berry drink and I am amazed at how much better I am already feeling--truly. I didn't expect to and didn't expect to notice for several weeks. It also truly tastes great. Reading the ingredients and knowing Marjolein's insistence on nutrition and quality I am very impressed.
I am juuuust starting the Pilates routine and can tell it will be a wonderful thing for me. I will be trying to write on this board and answer inquiries almost daily. If there are personal questions I can help with feel free to email me at sparklingthinking@yahoo.com
Thanks to Marjolein and her wonderful members(you guys!) for the support and opportunity to share Chenier's and my experiences.

| I can't wait to see the new juices on QVC. I've been slowly making changes to my diet in effort to eliminate over processed junk and these juices will fit right in. I am excited to see that there's one with metabolism boosters! |

Hello Marjolein... I'm Stephanie (L) - your writer friend, in L.A., whose play is going to NY! Finally! Finally! In July! (I'll pm you about the specifics). And with whom you had discussed your sister in Australia! What a fantastic thing this all is! Bless you for getting this much needed site up and running! saw your tsv on the 'q' today - congratulations! Bringing harmony to the world, one body at a time, yes? So -
I'm struggling with my weight. I've had illness , and between the medication and the lack of consistent movement I'm up 60 pounds. I can't even find the discipline within myself to stay focused on Weight Watchers. I"m heavier than I've ever been, and absolutely miserable. and with going to NY in July, I really want to be at the top of my game for any number of reasons. I need help.
I am a true believer in Weight Watchers, but I can't seem to get myself into the zone. I would love a system that helped -but I have some questions, as I cannot have dairy in my diet. If there were something that would help to balance me within , so I would be able to help balance my outer world, that would be amazing.
Marjolein - is there any way that you could create some kind of eating program geared specifically toward the Pilates woman, which would bring spiritual balance, as well?
Looking forward to hearing your response when you get a chance! Stephanie |

Marjolein, it was great to talk to you on QVC the other night/morning, you are doing such a wonderful service. I about started to cry talking to you and then listening to the others, well that was it. I was also glad to hear that I could buy a cardio board for the wonderful 4500 which I love. I am working away, unfortunately, I was away for three weeks and then when I returned I could not get back on right away but now it is all systems go.
I am very interested in your Weight Loss Juice, it sounds wonderful and what I need. I seem to go from not eating at all to eating very healthy for awhile and then I get this awful sugar attack that is out of control! I know that any detoxification would be great for me because of all of the meds., sugar etc.
I know i am a bit behind here but how long does the supply last, did you say a month? I would be very interested but think I purchase the Cardio Board first and then in a month or two I would love to purchase the drink. I trust everything you do 100% as I have never met anyone as caring and devoted to helping people get healthy, mentally, physically and spiritually.
I need some serious direction on the nutrician side of things. I tend to do well when I feel a bit better and then on bad days I just don't have the energy to make anything so I don't eat, I need to get my act together. Having had numerous, well only 4 major surgeries in the same spot on my stomach, from the belly button straight down, that is where I carry all of my weight so I need to get busy.
Well, now I am rambling but wanted to let you know that I am very interested it may just be a couple of months before I can join in.
You are so remarkable, your mind and body never stop!!!!
Sincerely,
Kathy Pettijohn
