I was a die hard aerobics instructor and I did such an intense workout that would make the most fit males plea for mercy-that was years ago before I had good sense. Now I realize the importance of balance in exercise and also in an eating plan. I am smaller using pilates and can eat more since I have a more balanced approach. The rebounding is really one of the best things I have ever done. Marjolein said that she lost additional inches off her waist when she had to stop running from a recent foot fracture(caused by running). If Marjolein can lose inches in her waist when she is already so fit then there has to be real benefit from the rebounding. I know of a freind who has knee problems and rebounding hasn't been the answer for her but I think she over did it and could have used it if she has gradually work up her routine. So in a nut shell, I think the combination of rebounding and the regular pilates performer workout is a wonderful plan. My legs are smaller from rebounding and also I had some problems with spider veins around the side of my knee and since I have been rebounding they have vanished(not sure why but I emailed Marjolein about it). It is a great set up.
