Sandra,
I am with you in that I, too, am curious about the 48 hour cleanse. Also I would like to hear from anyone that has done the Veggie and Fruit drink mixes that are offered through Lighter Living.
Thanks!

Hi Becky,
I still haven't purchased any of those drink mixes or the 48-hr cleanse.
Sydney did try the 48-hr cleanse. I'm sure when she sees the post she'll be able to comment on her experience with it.
As soon as I purchase any of the mixes, I'll let you know how it turned out. If you try the mixes before me let me know what you experienced.

Good morning, Sandra!
Just to let you know that I took the plunge on the drink mix! I was out shopping over the weekend and found the Berry Splash in the GNC store. They were out of the veggie at the time. Also found out that they use to carry the 48-hr cleanse but recently went with a 24-hr cleanse from a different company. By joining the GNC Gold Club ($15/year) one receives terrific discounts! On the Berry drink I saved $6 by joining! At today's prices any savings is a great blessing! The berry drink is tasty and very satisfying as a mid-day meal (at least for me) along with a small yogurt. I have been on it for only three days and this morning the scales were 3 pounds less!
Hope this is beneficial news for those asking about the drinks!
Have a great day! :D

Krystlhawk,
I have noticed a tremendous change, which was my main goal in doing the drink, and that being that I now have an active metobolism!
In the past I would have my evening meal around 6 pm and no stomach growls till 2:30 or so the next afternoon! And even then the feeling of being hungry rarely happened. Now I am hearing my stomach growling in the mornings and actually feeling hungry! The drink does give me a surge of energy, but not a jittery one like one would get from way too much caffeine! It's also great knowing that the drink is so loaded with antioxidents that my body is benefitting from it in so many different ways! Please overlook my spelling of words! Also with not being a healthy 3 meals a day person I have always had the issue of "irregularity" and since being on the BerrySplash daily I am "regular". Sorry, but that's a fragile topic with so few words to describe it!
Please forgive my frankness and I truly hope that I don't offend anyone.
The weight lose ranges from 5 to 8 pounds. And that troubles me especially since I am faithfully doing the rebounder along with pilates exercises 6 days out of 7 anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes each workout. I seriously need to hit the dieting books again. I still don't have the worlds greatest eating habits and I know that I have to incorporate more protein and less carbs but I am a very fussy eater so that is going to be a challenge. Any suggestions out there would truly be appreciated.
Have a great day! |
