JP Performer Helped Me
I've had a neurological problem for some years now. Over the last 5
years things had deterorated to where my walking was really affected.
Muscle tone was fast disappearing making walking even harder. With
quite a complex medical history and a fractured pelvis 5 years ago,
exercising was becoing increasingly difficult to do. I tried a rehab
gym but ended up being tired, unable to go very often. So things
continued to go down hill. Then, I read a article about Pilates and the
machine. I watched QVC and thought "that looks like fun and
maybe it would help". So I purchased the JP Performer and got
excited that I might be able to regain the muscle tone.
The first week
nothing happened, I couldn't move the platform. But I persisted and at
the end of the second week it started to move. Gradually I
built up the cords and I could see I was regaining muscle
tone. I've continued to use it. I've kept my strength and flexibility
and I enjoy using the machine. It's helped to keep me walking
and I wouldn't be without it. I have a low bone density
problem and that's staying stable due to the exercise. Being able to
exercise still is brilliant. I've always been an active person, so it
was annoying when my mobility started to be affected. I've had days
when an arm or leg wouldn't work but I continue to use Pilates. The
freedom of movement it gives you is wonderful and one that I
love.
