Thermography: A non radiation diagnostic tool to prevent breast cancer

Posted on Wednesday, November 4, 2009

There actually is a safe and natural “early detection of breast cancer” tool so how come we don’t know about it?

At 37, when my first child, Sky, was three I discovered a lump in my breast.
Off to the doctor who immediately prescribed my first “base line” mammogram. I was horrified to experience this humiliating and painful process. It brought up many emotional memories causing me to get angry at the archaic and thoughtless way in which, another woman, none the less, shoved my breasts around, squished them into a 1/4 inch space between two heavy plates without even so much as a smile or reassurance that I had made a good decision...... After all these were the breasts that I proudly grew at 14, had nurtured for over 20 years, loved when they made me feel feminine and nursed my new born from for a year.

Toxins: The most insidious Killers of our time

Posted on Friday, May 1, 2009

Why do we all feel so tired, lethargic, fat, sick and depressed?

Mainly because our busy, modern lives expose us to thousands of poisons that we cannot adequately eliminate, causing toxic overload which in turn makes us sick and tired.

We absorb these insidious toxins from the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, the medications we swallow and the lifestyles we lead. Most of the toxins we absorb cannot be eliminated and are instead stored in our fatty tissue, bones and our brain, where over time they cause inflammation and irreparable damage which eventually can make us desperately sick.

Unless we actively attempt to regularly clean our system, we will eventually suffer the demise of years of internal poisoning, causing serious disease and distress. We must learn to vigilantly assist our liver, skin and lymphatic system to cleanse and detoxify all our organs, freeing us of these deadly poisons and restoring our ability to absorb the healthful nutrients that we eat, drink and breathe.

How the most important nutrient for life may be poisoning you. Water…is it the staff of life?

Posted on Wednesday, April 1, 2009

"We are not destroying our water; but we are rendering it unusable, which amounts to the same thing",

Nor Any Drop to Drink, William Ashworth.

Water covers 72% of the world. While occasionally a hot topic in the news I believe that the toxic levels of heavy metals and drugs found in most city water supplies as well as the pollution of our international waters is seriously over looked.

In my practice I have seen case after case of people suffering from inexplicable symptoms, which later are determined to be caused by drinking toxic water.

Audrey, who is 66 years old, has spent the last 4 years of her life trying to explain her debilitating fatigue, unbearable dizziness, serious memory loss and irritating bouts of hives. Despite her extremely active lifestyle not one of the many doctors she saw was able to diagnose her disease. She came to us and after reviewing the masses of testing results we decided to check her urine for heavy metals and chemicals. As predicted her results showed extremely elevated levels of antimony and lead. We recommended that she have her well water tested and begin to use bottled water instead and suggested a reverse osmosis filter in her home to treat the water she used for washing. She also added an ozone pool filter. We treated her with a total body detoxification program and today she feels much better.

Undiagnosed Intestinal Issues Could Be Caused By Intestinal Parasites

Posted on Sunday, March 1, 2009

"We have a tremendous parasite problem right here in the U.S.  It is just not being addressed." --Dr. Peter Wina, Chief of the Patho-Biology in the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in 1991.

'In terms of numbers there are more parasitic infections acquired in the US than in Africa!" --Dr. Frank Nova, chief of the Laboratory for Parasitic Diseases of the National Institute of Health.  (NIH)

It was heart breaking.  A young medical student in her 2nd year came to our practice.  She had brain fog, headaches and memory loss.  She could not sleep and often felt dizzy and fatigued.  She had taken time off from school and was becoming more and more depressed.  Her father, who was a doctor, had taken her to all the best specialists in Chicago and surrounding areas.  By the time I met her, she had seen a total of five doctors, had numerous tests, endless poking and prodding and was on four different medications.  A stool test, the same test we offer at LighterLiving, was performed the day of her office visit.  Three weeks later the results showed that she had Taenia Solium.  Commonly known as the "Pork Tapeworm", she must have picked it up eating uncooked pork.  Three days of medication and she was better!  Two months of supplementation and herbal support and she was back in school.
