After your next cup of coffee, don't discard the grinds

Posted by Marjolein Brugman on Friday, March 26, 2010

Coffee is the most consumed drink in the United states, next to water and soda. The coffee bean is the seed of the coffee plant and is a natural astringent, antioxidant, detoxifier and when ground becomes a moisturizing exfoliant as well. It can heal, moisturize and soothe dry skin and slough off dead cells to create tighter, brighter and firmer skin.

Tomorrow morning after you have imbibed your first or last cup of fresh ground coffee, i suggest you save the grinds, as I do, and add them to Sweet Almond Oil and use them as an all over body scrub. Be careful to perform this messy task in the tub or shower but after you will feel how soft and fresh your skin feels.
